Let’s start with what brought you in…
SHOW ME YO’ TEETH
You do not need to know dental words to explain why you are here. Pain, broken tooth, bleeding gums, missing teeth, or just knowing it has been too long: start there. We will figure out the dental part with you.
-
Your first visit is about getting a clear picture of what is going on.
We will review your health history, take any needed x-rays, check your teeth and gums, and talk through what we see. Some visits are routine. Some are focused on a specific problem. Either way, the goal is for you to leave understanding what looks good, what we are watching, and what options you have.
-
Tooth pain can come from a variety of different things. A cavity, cracked tooth, infection, gum problem, bite issue, or something else.
We will examine the area, take the needed x-rays, and explain what we see. Sometimes the answer is simple. Sometimes it may involve a filling, crown, root canal, extraction, medication, or a referral.
-
Teeth break. Fillings wear out. Crowns come loose. Sometimes something small is simple. Sometimes a tooth needs more support than it looks like from the outside.
We will explain what is broken, how much tooth is left, and what options make sense.
-
Cleanings are not just about making teeth feel smooth.
They help remove buildup you cannot fully remove at home and give us a chance to check your gums, bone levels, bleeding, recession, and areas that may be changing. Healthy gums are the foundation for keeping teeth long-term.
Sometimes a regular cleaning is appropriate. If gum disease is present, a deeper cleaning may be recommended to remove buildup below the gumline and help control inflammation.
-
Missing teeth can affect chewing, appearance, speech, and the way your bite feels.
There is usually more than one way to replace a missing tooth. Options may include a bridge, partial denture, or implant restoration depending on your mouth and your goals.
We will explain the options, the tradeoffs, and what each choice may mean over time.
-
Not every jaw problem has the same solution.
We look at the teeth, bite, jaw joints, muscles, wear patterns, and signs of clenching or grinding to understand what is actually going on.
For many people, a custom night guard can help protect the teeth and reduce damage. For others, a different type of appliance, a more detailed evaluation, or another next step may make more sense.
We will explain what we find, what may be contributing to the problem, and what options fit your situation.
-
That is okay.
You do not need to know exactly what is going on before you call. Tell us what you are noticing: pain, pressure, bleeding, a broken tooth, a loose crown, a bad taste, or just that something feels off.
We will take a look, explain what we see, and help you understand the next step.
